ConservationForestrySA manages around 30,000 hectares of its estate for conservation purposes. The majority of these areas are managed as Native Forest Reserves and are located within the Southern Flinders Ranges, Mt Lofty Ranges, and the Lower South East of South Australia. They are legally protected and actively managed by ForestrySA to conserve and enhance their plant and animal communities for the long-term benefit of the South Australian Community.
